Net Zero Commitment - Net Zero by 2050 Plan
Our plan sets out a clear pathway to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across all areas of our operations, in line with UK Government targets and the Paris Agreement.
Key Commitments in Our Net Zero Plan:
- Carbon Footprint Measurement
- We are actively measuring our Scope 1, 2, and where possible Scope 3 emissions (fuel usage, electricity, supply chain, business travel).
- Annual carbon reporting ensures we can track and benchmark reductions.
- Energy & Fuel Reduction
- Transitioning our fleet and operational vehicles towards low-emission and electric alternatives where feasible.
- Commitment to using battery-powered equipment and reducing reliance on diesel-powered machinery at events (e.g., lighting towers, generators).
- Sustainable Procurement
- Preference for suppliers and contractors who demonstrate strong sustainability credentials.
- Reducing single-use plastics and encouraging circular economy practices at event sites.
- Operational Efficiency
- Introducing digital systems (staff portals, reporting tools) to reduce paper use.
- Increasing remote and digital communications to minimise unnecessary travel.
- Staff Engagement & Training
- Training our workforce to understand sustainable practices, energy efficiency, and waste minimisation.
- Building sustainability considerations into our health, safety, and well-being policies.
- Offsetting & Continuous Improvement
- Where emissions cannot be immediately reduced, we are committed to verified carbon offsetting.
- Annual reviews of progress to ensure we remain on track for Net Zero by 2050, with interim targets for 2030 and 2040.
